Many people are often unable to obtain mental health services due to lack of insurance and high out of pocket cost.
At Therapy for Cycle Breakers, it's important to us that everyone has access to affordable therapy services. Through our counseling internship program, we are able to make this a reality and offer low cost for therapy sessions. Select pro bono slots available. These are full length, 50 minute long sessions that will help get you or your loved one to a better mental state. We offer both in person sessions at our office in Largo, Florida or virtually throughout all of Florida.

Meet Alexus!
Alexus, She/Her, Master’s mental health counseling intern
Works with children ages 10+, adolescents and adults 18-40.
Alexus is a Master’s student at Thomas University studying clinical mental health counseling. She has a strong passion for working with children, adolescents and young adults. She focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can feel heard and understood as your child navigate the complexities of growing up. Alexus believes in the transformative power of empathy and connection in fostering resilience and personal growth.

Rates:
Individual/Family Therapy: 50 minutes
Offers 2 free sessions then pay what you can between $35-$60.

Our Clinical Internship Program
The Clinical Internship Program is for Graduate degree students who are in their practicum/internship courses in their Master’s degree program.
The Clinical Internship offers Master-level students to earn their practicum/internship hours toward their degree and graduation.
We accept Graduate Interns pursuing their Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Clinical Interns provide 2-free Counseling sessions to you, your child, or teen! Then, we offer “pay what you can” sessions. On your intake form you will select your fee rate between $30-$60.
Under supervision, the Clinical Intern, will work with you and your family to determine your treatment needs and provide therapeutic techniques to help you reduce or manage your mental health concerns.

All sessions are 45-55 minutes in length just like regular sessions. We can also offer longer sessions if that feels like a better option for you.
