Attachment Therapy
Attachment therapy is all about teaching, training and modeling healthy communication patterns for the parent. This also involves having a therapist train and observe parenting/child interactions. Parents are the only person who has the power to create lasting changes. Using Therapeutic Play to Address Attachment Needs: Therapeutic play activities are selected with the child’s attachment needs in mind. For children with insecure attachments, play therapy can focus on activities that build trust, demonstrate reliability, and promote the expression of emotions. This helps in gradually altering their expectations of adult relationships from mistrust and fear to security and comfort.

FAQs

We do not accept insurance for a variety of reason but our main reason is we believe in less about diagnosing and more about quality care. Insurance has lots of demands and often doesn’t view therapy as “medially necessity” for family counseling. We are fully transparent about fees and all licensed therapists charge $175/session. Our sessions are usually slightly longer at 60 minutes and we offer text support between sessions.
