Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy in Largo Florida is a form of therapy that can help you deal with the emotional response caused by a traumatic event. We offer many different types of therapy in our office. We provide Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), trauma therapy intensives and talk therapy.
We work work with you to develop the best treatment for YOU.
-
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
One of the special aspects of ART is that when clients replace their negative images with positive ones they don’t need to talk to the therapist about any details of the trauma. This is because ART is procedural, though creative; and the client is really in control of the process, while the ART Therapist is a helpful guide. This makes the therapy easier on the client and easier on the therapist.
-

In therapy teens can learn to manage their moods. If your teen has been struggling, a therapist can work with your child on specific mood managing techniques where medication might fall short.

“I have known Jennifer, owner of The Brave Life Therapy, for about ten years professionally and personally. She truly is a No B.S. therapist (and person!) and works unbelievably hard for her clients, staff, and practice. I have not hesitated to refer clients to her, especially with her professional expertise. Knowing her, this high quality therapy easily carries over to her expectations for staff as well. If you are on the fence, definitely reach out!.”
